Wait, LOTR was banned for being Satanic? That doesn’t even make sense. Obviously no book banning makes sense, but that one is fucking absurd. There’s no deity structure whatsoever in Middle-earth. How could it promote devil worship if there are no alternate deities to promote, period?
Also, Tolkien was a Catholic. And was instrumental in CS Lewis’ conversion from Atheism to Christianity. So. Someone didn’t do their research.
