Just because we’re the same age, and we’re both chicks, doesn’t mean that we have to see any kind of competition. Especially when you’re going to spend the first couple of years, probably just auditioning. And it’s going to take a fucking long time. Unless you’re, like, the luckiest person in the world like all these other people I saw that did really well on their first audition […] It’s so great to to be able to actually celebrate other people for that, who really a hundred percent do that. And God, I’m so proud of my friends who’ve become really successful and I can honestly say that I’m so wholeheartedly proud of them in a way that doesn’t have anything to do with me. The joy that I feel when my friends get a big job, is actually more than I feel for myself; I feel relief when I get a job. With my friends, I’m like: “Let’s get hammered this is the best thing that ever happened!”
